Hello and welcome to another post, in this one I'm going to talk about "English Language Challenges", since I was little I always played video games in English and until now I watch every film with subtitles, that is one way I learn English in my life and of course the English classes in my school were very helpful. With that said, now I'm going to talk about my experience learning English at university. Most of the classes were very similar to my English classes in school, same types of exercises and a similar way of teaching but I never had to use blogs to learn English so by one side it was very rare to me get used to that type of program but in the end it was very fun.
Like I said, since I was little I tried to listen everything I can in English to improve my listening but I never had a lot of chances to improve my oral interaction and pronunciation, so the videos requested for the English class in the university were very helpful to fix that and other type of solution was trying to talk with my brother in English, he has a good pronunciation and he also is learning English in his University so we help each other, maybe I'm going to take some English classes in the summer but I don't really know for sure.
To be honest I don't use English a lot, I always talk with my friends in Spanish but when I travel to another country the use of English is very helpful to communicate with other people, to ask for directions for example and in some occasions I talk with my brother in English and maybe some jokes with him. English is an incredible tool to be considered in the future, in many aspects of your life and work.

Changes to my study programme
Hello in this blog I am going to talk about my study programme, right now I'm studying public administration in the "Universidad de Chile", located in "Santiago de Chile". To be honest I don't know very well my progamme and I just started this year in this career so it's difficult for me to think about some changes in the programme. Since it's my first year the subjects are basically introductions to other more important subjects, we learn about history, mathematics, law, philosophy, English and management, maybe some other stuff but I don't remember too well. Every subject have a special name and all the names are long and specific, so writing every name can take me forever.
Almost all of my teachers think the same, when I say almost it's because not all of them think that way, they think that their subjects are more important than others, sometimes the workload is too high and intense and other weeks we don't have almost anything. Some of the subjects have a lot of texts so it takes you a lot of time to read them and the evaluations are pretty exhausting because every test needs a lot of material to study. About the length of the career I know it takes you about five years to graduate, but that is in the best scenario.
To start i have to say that this career it's not a faculty, it's a "school" of government and public management, so the facilities aren't too great compared to other faculties, the building it's small and the infrastructure it's a little outdated, but we have the essentials to study and develop our career. Some subjects use more the technology than others but in this year we haven't used too much technology, maybe in the future.
The teaching methods in this school it's the classical method, a teacher talks about the subject and the students take notes, later we use some texts to complement what the teachers said or not even that, we use the text to guide the class. Then we study and we do the evaluation or in some cases we do some projects, presentations or some reports about some particular theme.

Summer Plans
Hello and welcome again to this blog, today I'm going to talk about my summer plans for this year. I have to say if all goes well my summer could begin in the last days of December (except for the English test programmed for the 8th of January), so in the best case I could start travelling in the second half of January. I don't have any plans for those days at the moment so I was thinking I could spend those days with my friends, doing some stuff here in Santiago or maybe going to another place, I don't really know, but in February I'm going to Brazil with my family, except for my dad, he has to work, it's really sad but he wants us to do it, because it's a rare opportunity, my mom actually won those tickets in a lottery so we have to use them.
The destiny is Praia do Forte and I understand that the tickets are for an all-inclusive hotel, I don't know the name actually, I think the name is Iberostar but I'm not sure, but I know that this hotel have many activities to do for all ages, in my case I'm really interested in some particular activities like scuba diving in the ocean to see all the different life under the sea, other activity I want to do is play some football in the beach and of course I want to try any food I can while I am over there and talking about the nightlife activities they are going to depend in the people who will be joining us in the hotel so I don't really know how is going to be. In order to do all this things I am working at the moment in a restaurant to earn some money to spend it in Brazil and obviously a "little" to spend it here in Chile whit my friends.

My favorite book
Hello in this post I am going to talk about some topics about books, since I am not a very good reader I always try to avoid a big document or an extensive book, but my brother for the other side loves all kind of books especially the books of J.R.R.Tolkien and of course the trilogy of "The Lords of the Rings", one of the best-selling novels ever written. Thanks to my brother I start liking those types of books and Tolkien became one of my favorite authors, probably my favorite, he created a fantasy world where you can feel that you are inside or feel part of that world with all the different characters and stories it's easy to spend a lot of time reading his books.
Since I'm now studying public administration i am reading a lots of texts related to politics, history, philosophy and some of those texts are very fun to read others not too much, so I can add this book themes to my favorites but I like to read science fiction or fantasy to relax and enjoy.
I don't have specifically a favorite book because I like all the trilogy of "The Lords of the Rings" and probably I am going to read the others books of Tolkien in the summer, but I have a favorite movie from this trilogy, "The Return of the King" was my favorite movie of this trilogy, the last battle in the gates of Mordor was awesome. Like I say in the beginning of this post I am not a very good reader and I wasn't very interested in books so i don't remember the last book I read but I would probably recommend any book from Tolkien but my brother said to me that all this books have an specific order to understand it better so i recommend you to search or ask for the orders of the books to enjoy them better.
